On Canada’s National Day of Mourning for workers killed or injured on the job, the Ontario Waste Management Association (OWMA) and the Ontario Road Builders’ Association (ORBA) are pleased to mark this important day and announce its support for a Private Member’s Bill introduced by Michael Harris, MPP for Kitchener- Conestoga, which amends the Ontario’s Highway Traffic Act to provide better protections to front line workers collecting waste and recyclables at the curb and road builders.
