Ehlers-Danlos syndrome patients were given a voice Wednesday when “two brave young women” spoke directly with Minister of Health Eric Hoskins about what EDS has done to their lives, health and families.
“I’m up here begging and pleading for the quality of life I deserve,” Erika Crawford told a group of politicians and reporters.
She and her parents were joined by another EDS sufferer, Brooklyn Mills, 22, of Oakville.
Both young women looked frail and shaken at a morning news conference. Later in the day, Mills had a seizure and was taken by ambulance from Queen’s Park to a hospital. Read More
